Electric Golf is very popular model in Norway. It is one of the most affordable electric model and one of the first electric vehicles in Norway.

I was choosing between Renault Zoe, BMW i3, Toyota Prius, Kia Soul EV and VW e-Golf.
Since I wanted to get a new experiece and rejected hybrid and Sould (because i've already owned gasoline Soul in the past). I didn't understand an idea of i3 and this one was removed from the short list. I had hardtime chhosing between Zoe and e-Golf but finally I was impressed with e-Golf interior (especially comparing to Zoe) and decided to buy VW.

I paid around 99000 NOK (around 9000 $). After 6 months of driving e-Golf I can say that it is really nice city car. 115 electric h.p. is something different comparing to gasoline. The car is very responsive and has very firm acceleration. However it's not that responsive after 60kmh. But I think its quite rare when you need it. Especially in Norway with their speeding fines.

Short summary. Its my first electric car and really like the car itself and the dynamic of electric engine itself.
