The electric car VW e-GOLF was purchased for everyday trips home from work. In Norway, electric cars are not taxed upon purchase (you don’t even have to pay VAT), and there are also other operating advantages such as: low annual fee, you can drive in bus and taxi lanes, free parking and charging at public charging stations, free entrance to the city (in Oslo, a one-time entrance to the city for a passenger car costs about 235 rubles).

So it is quite profitable to operate and buy an electric car in Norway.
