I liked Volvos since childhood, especially because of their unique squareness.

Maybe that's why I started looking closely at the Swedish typewriter.

I wanted something inexpensive, cute and with a sporty character, so the choice fell on the V40. I was looking for a decent unit for a long time, and at the end of 11 I came across this copy. Diesel, 102 horses, chip box, climate control, almost complete equipment except for leather, spoiler, fog lights and DSA.

At the time of purchase, the mileage was 138,500, but the car was invigorating.

All maintenance was on schedule, the driver was a woman, so apart from minor cosmetic problems, I didn’t get any unpleasant surprises.

I changed consumables, washed the interior, installed some good music.

I go and enjoy it.

Modest plans for improvement:

— larger wheels — thinner tires,

- useful things, such as fenders

— standard spoiler,

— tinting

— front bumper lip.

— finish the music

- fog lights

— complete overhaul of the suspension

I will gradually fill out the journal.
